Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR spectroscopy)
The BIO group at DBCF has expertize in the field of NMR of biomolecules and carries out studies on protein structure, protein-drug interaction, metabolomics. The NMR facility provides a Bruker Avance 600MHz spectrometer with autosampler and a set of probes fitting many experimental needs.
Computational biology
In the BIO group expertize in computational biology is present: molecular dynamics simulation, metadynamics, molecular docking, protein modelling. Computational work is carried out on state of the art high performance workstations with GPU computing.
